Employee Spotlight: Brigette (Heiskell) Quinzy

This week, get to know Brigette Quinzy, who schedules appointments for Colonial and has been a very valuable asset to our team ever since.



 A little about Brigette...
"I married my husband, Aaron, in June of this year. Together we have two daughters, Aubrey (12 years old) and Amyah (9 years old), and we also have a dog, Miley."

If you could have any super power, what would it be?
"If I could have any super power, I would want to be able to see into the future so I can prepare for what's ahead."

What TV show or movie are you ashamed to admit you watch?
"Good Luck Charlie on the Disney Channel"

What is your most embarrassing moment at CFP?
"At the Christmas party last year when I thought I won the BIG flat screen TV. I jumped up and took off running, only to find out that I had two numbers backwards!"
  
What is your theme song?
"Strawberry Wine by Deanna Carter"

If you could be any public figure (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
"Sandra Bullock, she's an all around great person!"

What one food do you wish had zero calories?
"Chocolate Donuts!"

1) I was born and raised in Kansas

"My dad; he has ALWAYS been a hard working man!!"

"Stay in college!!"

"My date of hire!"

"The first man land on the moon"

This week, get to know Kenya Ransom, Certified Medical Assistant at Colonial Neurology. Working under the supervision of Dr. John Baker, she performs several duties in the clinical department and has been a very valuable asset to our team ever since her start.


A little about Kenya...
"I'm a proud mom of two - my 12-year-old daughter named Keonni and my 6-year-old son named Keenyan. There's also that very special guy, their father, Kiyoshi. I love to shop, sing in church, play softball, and spend quiet evenings at home with my family and friends."
If you could be any super power, what would it be and why?
"The power to read people's minds because it would let me know who is genuine and who isn't"
What TV show or movie are you ashamed to admit you love?
"Lizard Lick Towing - I love it!"
If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?
"Rice, gravy, fried pork chop, macaroni and cheese, and some cornbread"
What is your most embarassing moment at CFP?
"When I split a pair of scrub pants at work"
If you could be any public figure (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
"Michelle Obama because she is beautiful, smart and she's the First Lady!"

1) I share a birthday with my brother, who is 3 years older than me
2) I'm really shy
3) I'm the middle child of my brother and sister, but I'm the most spoiled!

"My mom because she is always positive about everything and being positive is a way to make life that much easier"
If you could go back, what advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
"Go to college and finish; Explore the world and then begin your family life!"

"A rewarding moment for me is knowing that I helped someone feel better once they leave the office"

This week, get to know Aubrey King, Call Center Personnel, who has been a very valuable asset to our team since her start at Colonial.


A little about Aubrey…
“My family consists of myself, my fiancé Gerard, my dog Allie, and two cats, Godric and Rambo. We are very busy from day to day but we always seem to find time for each other. I work at CFP full time and attend school at Central Carolina Technical College, working toward my associate’s degree in Nursing. My fiancé attends school at Francis Marion University as a full time student working toward his bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Our animals enjoy being lazy without any care in the world!”
What TV show or movie are you ashamed to admit you love?
“Shhh… Vampire Diaries”
If you go back, what advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?
“Listen to adults! They are always right and know what they are talking about because they have already lived and learned”
Describe your most rewarding moment at CFP.
“Every day is rewarding for me at CFP! I enjoy helping people and I have the privilege of doing it every day when patients call in needing things, whether it is an appointment or general questions.”
What is your most embarrassing moment at CFP (or in general)?
“When I walked downstairs with my headset still on”
What do you do at CFP?
“You could say I’m a jack of all trades, but in a nutshell, I work in the appointments department answering phones and addressing the patients’ needs to the best of my knowledge. If I’m unable to help them or answer a certain question, I will find someone that can help!”
If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?
An all you can eat buffet, and when they ask me if I’m finished, I will take another and say, “No, my meal never ends because it’s all you can eat!”
If you could have any super power, what would it be and why?
“I would like to have the ability to time travel because I could back and relive different memories with lost loved ones. If you think about it, time is the only thing that you cannot get back. You can manage it, remember it, but you can’t stop it. The clock keeps ticking and there isn’t anything you can do about it.”
If you could be any public figure (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
“Susan B. Anthony, because she fought for women’s rights and I would have loved to be a part of that”

1)   I have lived in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, California, and now South Carolina

“I love my job! I am 35 years old and have two kids. I’m very people oriented and outgoing.”

“Mind reading; just to know what people are thinking at all times.”

“Getting thank you notes from patients.”

“ Married with Children”

“Relaxing and spending time with my family.”

“My patients and coworkers”

“My mom, because she is a hard worker, loving and supportive.”
